This year's E3 will be held in smaller gathering
hotel suites at Santa Monica, California. It looks like this year,
journalists will get a better coverage of MSFT for the single day
schedule. There will be alot of running around for Nintendo and Sony in
that 2 hrs of allotted time. In the past, these companies have started
their conference later than the schedule in order to cause the
journalists to be late for the other conferences. Hopefully this year
will be handled better!
Microsoft will be showing off
Halo 3 and their exclusive titles for sure, and alot of fans are
looking forward to extra titles that they managed to "steal" from Sony.
Sony will be showing off their
rather impressive lines of first party exclusives (Gamer's day plus a
few more) and of course, Killzone 2. Sony may possibly show off a
few 3rd party exclusive as well as their plans for the PSP or PSP2 (if
we are lucky, but I think it's a little too soon, maybe in 2
years). We may even see a few PS2 late-bloomers on the way! dust
off ur PS2, my friends. Sony Online Entertainment will also be
showing off a few new MMORPGs for the PC and PS3 as well.
Konami - MGS4 should come out almost
for sure after being absent for such a long time!
Ubisoft - They should be showing more
of Haze and Assassin's Creed, and they are very proud of them right
now. Ubisoft also mentioned a PS3 exclusive in the work a while ago,
maybe they will also show that game off, hopefully they were not
referring to Haze, which uses PS3 as the primary platform but it is
still a multiplatform game.
Namco Bandai - expect slew of PS3
exclusives and of course, Tekken and Gundam...
Disney - after the piece of crap (PotC)
that they have dropped onto us...will we get to see something
different? I am surprise SE is not showing up, maybe Disney will show
off the next Kingdom Heart in their place.
Nintendo will probably show more of
Mario and Super Smash Bro. their major system sellers (not that they
need any right now). Of course, various DS games will also make their
fair amount of noises.
